Holding cryo cells are sent to the planets surface, and the ships travel to a distant battlefield and the dead-stone braves are deployed in battle, where the braves utalize the tried-and-true Wall of lasers method of battle with their blessed lasguns and are extremely difficult to rout. Once the regiment is too ragged to continue, the survivors are re-frozen as veterans and the ships return to dead-stone, pick up the holding-cells and the cycle continues.
