This obviously makes them close-quarters melee monsters which are second only to the folks from the [[Corpse Grinder Cults]]. ==Crunch==
On Necromunda, Chieftans are the leaders of the clan, and comes equipped with skills and equipment designed to provide flexible melee support rather than shooting. These skills include Leadership, Savant, Cunning, Wastelands, Combat, and Agility. Whilst not as the brutish melee tanks as the Corpse Grinder Cultists or House Goliath, they are far more agile, akin to the Howling Banshees or Striking Scorpions of the Eldar. Them being able to wield the Chain Lance and Mono-Hook means that they are very versatile in melee, as both weapons cover each other's weaknesses; range and power for the Chain Lance, with speed and attack numbers for the Mono-Hook.
