'''Nurglitch''', ''Arch Plague Lord of Clan Pestilens'', is the founder of [[Clan Pestilens]] and the leader of its diseased ranks of [[Skaven]], having led them through the bloody campaigns of survivial in [[Lustria]] and then through the bitter civil wars of Skavendom that finally allowed Clan Pestilens to claim its place as the fourth Great Clan. He now sits as one of the 13 Lords of Decay, the high rulers of Skavendom. Not bad for a filthy little plague rat!

=Tabletop Game=
Nurglitch is playable in 6th edition, where he was tucked away inside of the [[Lustria]] [[splatbook]]. He costs 575 points, uses up a Lord and a Hero choice, and can only be taken in a ''Bubonic Court'' army, a variant of the [[Clan Pestilens]] army list from that self-same splatbook which represents the forces of Clan Pestilens during their early battles against the [[Lizardmen]]. Weirdly, one of his special rules specifies "Clan Pestilens" units, so you should probably be allowed to take him as the head of a Clan Pestilens army if your opponent is willing.

Nurglitch's statblock actually covers the Arch Plague Lord himself, his personal attendant Bilos, and Pox, the giant mutant plague rat which Nurglitch rides into battle. All three are treated as a single character with Movement 5, Weapon Skill 6, Ballistic Sill 3, Strength 4, Toughness 5, Wounds 5, Initiative 4, Attacks 6 and Leadership 7, as well as a Unit Strength of 3.

Nurglitch is a Level 3 Wizard who has 3 Warpstone Tokens and knows the spells Pestilent Breath, Death Frenzy, and Plague. He is armed with the Blade of Nurglitch (each unsaved Wound also inflicts -1 Toughness for the rest of the fight, dropping a target to Toughness 1 minimum), bears a Censer of Filth (creates the same noxious vapors as a Plague Censer but can't be used as a weapon), and carries the Bubonic Scepter, a Magic Item with a Bound Spell Level 5; when activated, choose an enemy unit within Nurglitch's line of sight up to 18" away, then roll a d6 for every model in the unit, inflicting a Wound with no Armor Saves allowed for each roll of a 6.
