Realizing that Caster Supremacy and such in [[Dungeons and Dragons]] is much worse in the later editions of D&D, a bunch of [[Neckbeard]]s got together, and created a modernized version of [[Advanced Dungeons & Dragons]] for the modern age. It carries forth old-school 2nd Edition balance, but with better fleshing out. It's a rare case of a system that seeks to use the oldschool for what it was, and is better for it.

The fact that OSRIC came to be in the way it did [[/tg/ gets shit done|should surprise no one familiar with /tg/]].

And [[/tg/]] looked upon it from above, and there was [[PROMOTIONS|love]].
