Among the agents forming the Kill Team is a lone Penal Legionnaire. These guys are basically there to soak up bullets in exchange for the chance of the Inquisitor striking all records from their criminal history. Pardoning through service essentially. The model at least, comes with a [[Chainsword]] and a [[Hand Flamer]] whilst equipped with [[Grenades & Explosives#Krak Grenade\|Krak grenades]]. Pretty [[awesome]].

	Needless to say, Imperial commanders tend to use Penal Legions as an expendable resource, even more so than normal regiments. Penal Legion soldiers hooked up on chems and sent on suicide missions is a major source of [[Grimdark]], which [[Warhammer 40,000\|40K]] runs on.
