	For Surgeon-Primus Aevos Jovan and his posse, he has ''Bitter Duty'' which means that he doesn't get to join anyone anymore, which is perhaps for the best as he's Bulky(5) thanks to his auto-gurney. Legate Marshal got blasted by a Volcano Cannon? Just respawn him, no biggie. You can also take up to 3 Orderlies, which you can sacrifice to the Auto-Gurney to increase or decrease your roll by 1, in case you want to make sure your Legate Marshal/Ogryn/(insert important model) comes back. The medical wing of the [[Solar Auxilia]] that is in-charge of taking care of the wounded during the [[Great Crusade]] and the [[Horus Heresy]]. Consider them as the precursor of the [[Imperial Guard]]'s [[Chiurgeon]].

==Overview==

The Solar Auxilia Medicae Section usually operated in a small team of around five to six members. They are combat medics whose purpose is to get into the biggest of clusterfucks and then promptly bringing the wounded back home. Not all of them succeed, however, and some members of the Medicae will most likely end up eating a shrapnel to the face. But their presence is a much-needed morale boost for the Solar Auxilia and they are able to operate on the frontlines.

Medicaes constitute a chief surgeon and two Medicae orderlies plus an [[Auto-Gurney]] to support the wounded in question. They are covered in medical masks, aprons and a suite of surgical gear. Despite their civilian roles, they all wear [[Void Armour]] and are armed with a [[Needle Pistol]] to protect themselves from any nasty gribblies.

There is also a special Medicae character called Surgeon-Primus Aevos Jovan, who has his own rules.

==Crunch==
Cheap as chips at 15 point a pop, but only Feel No Pain (6+), because whoever wrote the rules hates you. But hey, you can take pistols (at reasonable prices for once) and actual close-combat weapons like Charnabal/Power and Power Fists now! If you're taking any, be sure to give these to your Command Tercio squads with Plasma Guns, as it gives them another layer of protection against AP4 Gets Hot!.
