This has placed them into what seems to be a grudging conflict -at least on their part- with the Imperium as they are currently in the Segmentum Tempestus and their route takes them directly through a large swath of Imperial Space. While the Jormmund have never attacked any ship of any species they pass by on their monolithic coral-ships, all planets on their path are invaded, terraformed, and added directly to their reef-fleet or taken to pieces and incorporated into existing coral-ships. The way these Xeno accomplish this is just another truly alien aspect of these creatures as the Jormmund actually crash a coral-ship, surrounded by seas of water, into a prospective addition to their fleet. What is left of the devastated planet immediately begins to be metamorphosed into the diverse, colorful, unearthly coral that composes their crafts. Battling these creatures in space has proven extremely difficult not only because of the "bubble" of water and psychic energies that surround the Jormmund but also due to the countless biological weapons and defenses their coral-ships are capable of deploying.
