Which raises a question of if the writer had ever ''seen'' the artwork for hobgoblins in AD&D. 			Thouls were maybe justified in the Moldvay 1981 edition, separating Basic from Expert; in that they were easier for 3rd level parties to confront than the powerful Trolls. Points for trying, we suppose. Mentzer really shouldn't have bothered holding them over for the full BXCMI.
