They focus heavily on Thrym's preferred weapon ''(the Greataxe)'' which they learn to enhance through magic. Their duties are to preach of the coming ''Fimbulwinter'' which they believe only the strongest will survive, so they prepare for Surtr's coming fires by learning how to detect, resist, and dispel flames in the hope of enduring the fiery apocalypse whilst also preparing themselves for the eternal winter that is expected to follow.
