They just love wearing green armored greatcoats for some reason. 			Yeah, about that...so apparently in M30, Valhalla was facing severe food shortages due to [[derp\|reasons]]. This problem worsened however, when a bunch of [[Ork]]s with nothing better to do, got flung through the [[Warp]] to the ice world. Orks being Orks, descended upon the frozen ice-cream truck of a planet proceeded to fight the Valhallans for the food they had stored. Whilst things weren't looking too hot for the Valhallans, a couple of madlads burrowed a bunch of [[Mole]]s to dig under the main Ork encampment to weaken the ground they were standing on, sinking it and burying these mushrooms for good.

	For such a storied homeworld, the Valhallans produce rather boxstandard regiments. Other than their indigenous drill tanks they're basically poorer, coarser Cadians, fielding the same mix of artillery, armored, and mechanized infantry regiments and churning them out in staggering numbers. What sets them apart is their singular hatred for Orks and almost total indifference to cold. Even [[Fenris]] is practically tropical compared to their homeworld, which represents the coldest a planet can get and still be regarded as inhabitable. With an enormous population living in dense underground cities, Valhalla manages to be both a hive world and a death world; and has enough of a feral Ork problem to keep the Valhallan PDF proficient.		{{40k-Planets}}
