Imperial forces only became aware of his activities when the feral beast was almost upon them, flush with loot from the Realm of Omegon and spoiling for another fight. Rok'Ed could have been a serious setback for Imperial operations in the Segmentum Pacificus. As it was, the hard fighting of the [[Latoti Crusade]] almost broke the Fifth Legion and cost Meros one of its greatest heroes.
