Most notably, Surgeon Ana Curth [[Wat\|destroyed one of the daemonic machines with a number of flasks containing the blessed water from the Balneary Shrine of Herodor]] (that was originally manufactured by the Departmento Medicae to counteract the effects of Warp-contact on the human metabolism). Suffice to say, the way the Wirewolves was defeated was... [[Derp\|quite underwhelming in that regard.]] All things considered, being killed by something like consecrated silver bolter rounds would make sense since these are, of course, robot werewolves, but holy water? Seriously? Yes, seriously! It makes perfectly good sense as the holy water would counter the Warp taint. The Warp taint that is ''animating the daemon engine''. Duh. The only thing you ''should'' be surprised by is that there aren't holy water tanks based on the Banewolf or something for dealing with daemon engines and daemons and Chaos in general. I mean, seriously. When you have entire springs of the stuff on who knows how many planets, why isn't it being delivered to fight Chaos?
