			Whilst worship of Yig has been banned alongside her consort [[Kassegore]] and their son [[Jeggal Sag]], Yig's worship has survived underground better, thanks in part to it being traditionally favored by the [[ssanu]], who are still the second-highest race in the empire even after the [[varn]]-worshipping [[naga]] took control. Ssanu and [[yissera]] devoted to Yig have helped found the Abessian Dominion as the nexus of an insurrection against the varn cults.
