so this chapter was created by a strategic pronostication. some one in the Administratum, mos probably from the Logis Strategos foresaw a treat so high that the creation of a chapter was needed. this happened in the 38th millennium so our chapter is ~2k years old, and after all this time and generations passed the chapter still wonders if the treat has come, or if it has already past. what matters if that now you are here, and you will do the emperors work.
 
For that they had chosen the mighty dark angels of the first founding,and so, our chapter master is a member of the dark angels inner circle, keeping the dark angels agenda, in parallel to our main purpose. we are monastic in nature, but we are different, we are a new generation not like the dark angels we have looked at the future and changed our traditions.

we are adepts at maintaining a silent vigil on our foes. we strike from the dark and by surprise. we wont make no sound and no movement until our time has come, and theirs ended..
 
and as so our chapters values cunning and strength (+5 str +5 per) even if we have changed our ways from our progenitors in favour of stealth and cunning, we still keep high value on our martial prowess and heritage.
 
but then something happened, during our chapter creation the gene seed suffered changes inevitable changes changes our brothers must deal with.
the Figure of legend told of one of our own battle brother a simple marine from the 8th company led actions against an eldar craft world, the destruction and devastation of the xenos and the victorious return he made printed a mark in our chapter history and in the eldars memory.

our chapter completely twist the codex astartes and because of that we have an unique organization. something that would make Roboute Guilliman spit his coffee. but hell who says books are meant to be taken word by word the emperor works is still done.
 
but this unique organization came at a cost. as we focused our efforts refining one of our skills we lacked from one. roll1d100 for a restriction and 1d100 for a special equipement
 
oh my god. for some reason we don't have techmarines every man is expected to keep their armours at top condition by themselves,
 
we also have access to rare weaponry strange since we have no techmarines, perhaps we pulled a blood raven on the mechanicus and got us some "gifts" (examples are difital weapons, astartes assault canon).

our chapter combat doctrine includes an unusually high concentration of tanks at our disposition how we got them despite not having techmarines is a thing shrouded in mystery. this tanks are so unique that they bear special weapons on them, and in a high amount too. our chapter keeps close watch on our special tank secret and their proper rites of maintenance are known by the marines that drives them.
 
solo mode:
our chapter has been trained to sense the disturbance in the warp. all of our marines have the psyniscence skill and reroll failed willpower test to resist psychic powers

when we attack we do it hard and loud.

With Knowlege of secret and forbidden lore we are more able to avoid sorcery and witchcraft giving us a +10 to resist psychic powers (including dodge) +20 at rank 4
 
we believe in the emperor above all.
 
we are under strength a decade or so we lost many brothers it will take us the same time to get back to full strength.
 
we are friends with the inquisition.
