Some readers enjoy finding cards that are especially appropriate for each book they read.

A bookmark is a trading card that has more value helping you remember where you last stopped reading a book than it has as a game piece.

This can happen because the card is far too weak, because the card has really appealing artwork and flavor, or a little of both.

If you have a card in your collection you'd like to see more often, using it as a bookmark can be a fun alternative to visiting it in a binder. Just remember to sleeve the card to keep it safe while you've got it out and about; you never know what dangers could be lurking out there, ready to attack your precious cardboard.
