The Marines Malevolent are some fucktards a Space Marine chapter who haet the Salamanders chapter, and in turn are loathed by them. This largely has to do with their unique approach to hostage situations (hint: it involves whirlwinds). They got a shortage of power armour, so they use whatever parts of power armour they can find. In the novel Salamander by Nick Kyme they even steal some from an abandoned Adeptus Mechanicus forge ship.
Hence /tg/and GW writers regarding them as the worst chapter, notwithstanding the fact that they are merely assholes and cold pragmatists, while other chapters like the Black Templars or the Minotaurs consider ruthless brutality against civilians as their sacred duty.
