Recently he has written the 40k novel "Rites of Passage" which has come under fire from [[Neckbeard]]s due to controversial inclusive considerations such as characters with non-traditional genders and their pronouns in the novel. These are in-line with BL's guidelines (especially for ad-mech) as it's more sci-fi. He also goes the way of ADB and front loads the Alpharius novels with women in almost every non-Astartes role, complete with a lesbian couple and their gene-splice produced daughter. A [[ Gav_Thorpe|Genderless]] techpriest also appears in Brutal Kunnin' terrifying neckbeards who haven't seen their own genitals without a mirror in decades. Proving BL has at least one author who realizes it's 2021.

Mike has written some rather fine Necromunda stories for Black Library and looks like a man whose father fucked a particularly goth looking parrot. If his mohawk and punk band are any indication, he certainly fits the part of a writer of Grimdark fiction.

Previously published sci-fi author, massive fan of the game. Has an appropriately massive 40K army and a dick bigger than ADB but not as big as Dan Abnett's, which isn't saying much.
