The fucking funniest comedy group ever.
A huge portion what is referenced at some point and is obstenibly funny directly-references either their show (Monty Python's Flying Circus), their movies (Life of Brian, Meaning of Life, and Quest of the Holy Grail, for example), or their live comedy segments.
