Narrativist is a person who thinks the game should be more about the story and that the rules of mechanics of the actual game may hinder that goal. They obviously prefer rule lite over rule heavy game when the play as they may bitch that they can't roleplay a fighter who is really good at archery even though he should have just taken a ranger and refluff it.
