"Is it me, or is that place we were just in awfully familiar...? "
- – Sonic the Hedgehog experiencing déjà vu, Sonic Generations
Originally Published as BX essentials, Old School essentials is a remake of Basic/Expert Dungeons and Dragons sets (Hereafter referred to as BX D&D). It prizes itself on fidelity and clarity of organization. It even has a whole appendix dedicated just to what changes they made from the original in order to make things clearer or more usable.
Honestly It's a pretty straightforward pitch. Also, it has some very nice art.
