The Rakshasa is a fiendish race from [[Dungeons & Dragons]], originally drawn from Indian mythology. Master shapeshifters and illusionists, they are selfish, arrogant, hedonistic bastards who in their true form resemble humans with the heads and tails of tigers (although background fluff occasionally gives them alternate heads, like apes, wolves or mantises) and whose hands are "reversed".
