Roleplaying is the act of impersonating a character with a distinct set of characteristics and skills. The character is often written by the player himself. May or may not be fun.
Rollplaying is far more fun, however. This may or may not be is a lie.
Roleplaying involves making decisions for your character based on who he is *and* rolling dice, while rollplaying only involves dice. In fact, rollplayers could as well be playing rock paper scissors over and over and going "YEAH! I WIN! I'M THE BEST! BECAUSE A RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR DECIDED SO!"
