Now it's just a desert where undead Pharaohs chill, and where [[Settra]] is trying to restory the glory and might of his country. A natural magnet for both Human and Dwarven avanturists, though most of them never even return home.

The Southlands are the Warhammer World's analogue to Africa. It's often stated that it's not a part of the Old World, which in Warhammer universe is mostly just Europe.

In a list-like order, here is the Warhammer Southlands nations at their real world equivalents:

  • Nehekhara: Pretty much real-life Ancient Egypt, may be considered even more prosperous than its counterpart, at least before Nagash fucked everything up.
