Tristran le Troubadour is one of the fairly large assortment of special characters for Bretonnia that appeared only in Warhammer 5th edition and were subsequently removed when it received its more grimdark revamp in 6th edition.

Essentially a Bard, Tristran is a Bretonnian nobleman who decided to take up the Grail Quest despite always having been more of a fan of music than of fighting. Assisted by his faithful court jester Jules le Jongleur, he has been all over Bretonnian, searching for the Lady's favor and honing his musical skills. In the game, he's basically a support character, as his special rules let him play three different songs that each provide their own unique buffs to a regiment he has joined.
