Ultramarines: The Movie Is a 70-minute CGI movie about the Ultramarines Chapter. Directed by Martyn Pick and produced by Bob Thompson (The guy who produced the Bionicle movies).
Plot
The Plot has been revealed that Captain Severus (Played by the gloriaus Terrence Stamp)goes with a ten-man squad to some planet called Mithron (which only has one vital point: a shrine guarded by the Imperial Fists). Apparently, it's under attack by Chaos Space Marines (which everybody believes is the Iron Warriors. Cuz if you saw the first trailer, you can see Imperial Fist's nailed up on the walls. I mean, which other Traitor Legion would do that?) Anyway, they go and investigate. And that's all we know.
Characters
Ultramarines:
- Captain Severus (Terrence Stamp) - Captain of the Ultramarines 2nd company.
- Brother Proteus (Sean Pertwee) - Newly promoted battle brother. Hates Verenor.
- Brother Verenor (Steve Waddington) - A newly promoted battle brother. He's a jerkish wannabe cuz he thinks he can be a commander....AS IF!...And so everybody in Ultima squad, especially Proteus, hates him.
- Apothecary Pythol (Donald Sumpter) - Some old fart who's friends with Severus.
- Brother Nidon (Johnny Harris) -
- Scout Sergeant Crastor, Brother Junor and Brother Remulus (Ben Bishop) -
- Brother Hypax, Brother Maxillius and Brother Decius (Gary Martin) -
- Brother Boreas and Brother Lycos (Christopher Finney) -
Imperial Fists:
- Chaplain Carnak (John Hurt) - Chaplain of the Imperial Fists. He's the one responsible for sending out the distress signal. (And thus, if you're smart, secretly a traitor).
- Nailed up in walls Imperial Fists (Themselves) - They're having the time of their lives.
Things that Rock
- A Warhammer movie for the first time in 2 decades. Finally.
- Dan Abnett (Arguably the greatest of Warhammer Novel writers EVER!!!) writes the story.
- Amazing actors (Except those after John Hurt... ok, maybe Donald Sumpter could be considered an exception)
- Fine animation for the most part.
- Space Marines who don't look like HAIRATICS.
- Have we mentioned John Hurt? His awesomeness is so great that we must do so. Venerate John Hurt! The True Emperor
