Based on the "deep" animé Neon Genesis Evangelion, and using a modified Dark Heresy rulesets you can play out all the giant robot fighting you want with as much or as little incoherent symbolism as your campaign has room for.
It's like Dark Heresy, but with all the dark brooding angst replaced with... um... yeah. *cough*
