The Caele are elves which dwell on great flying cities. During the Great Fuckup, most of these cities crashed, killing all their inhabitants. Two cities remained airborne, but they were heavily damaged. One crashed seven years after the Goblin Continent had fully sunk, but the other remains aloft to this day, hovering above the clouds, growing food with rainwater and magic, and doing there best to keep the MacGuffin powering their city from failing. Because of the intense magics involved in keeping a city alive and aloft without outside contact, all of the Caele are bleached white.
