Aaron Allston is the lord of late-1980s Mystara.
His credits include the Karameikos Gazetteer and (very) tangential module X12: Skarda's Mirror (which was fucking awesome). He also did the Gazetteers for Rockhome, which was great; and Dawn of the Emperors for Thyatis and Alphatia which was also superlative.
Everything this man did was gold so look out for his name.
