At 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF, BEWD was the OG beatstick, quite capable of taking on the damn near the rest of the card games roster and coming out without a scratch. Even today, you won't find too many non-boss effect monsters capable of taking it on 1v1, without support at least. A BEWD summoned with no support is dead as any other boss monster, with nothing to negate spell effects nor trap effects plus, there are quite a few dragon-focused killing cards that can make your life hell. | |||
