The Cave Evolution Game, known originally as simply Evolution Game, was the first of the evo threads to appear on /tg/. It was created by from Aether !GuYmUwz4mI. The game takes place in a cave system inhabited by a variety of small creatures, primarily the allos, billu, cryd, symet, and myrit.
Denisens of the cave
Allos

The Allos is a species of aquatic slug-like creatures which inhabit the deep pools of water within the cave.
Billu
Billu are the small mammalian creatures of the cave. They are also the most diverse in the way of different species. Two traits shared by all of the Billu are their ability of echolocation and a powerful sense of smell.
Bellowers

Bellowers are the smaller, non-sapient species of billu. They are kept by the Tribal Billu as pets. They are completely blind, so they use echolocation to navigate the cave. On their sides they have two air sacks on their sides which the use to amplify their squeals into deafening shouts.
Tribals
Titans?
They were the results of experimenting with the Titan Crystals.
The Hive
The Hive is not a singular creatures. It is a collection of three very different organisms living together in the cryd colony.
Cryd

The most populous species and essentially the namesake of the Hive, the cryd are a species of arthropods with behaviors much like those of social insects such as ants and bees. They started as a blind, aquatic crustacean which ate the anemones in the water pools, but over time became land based and began to feed on sap from small plants they grew using their luminescent abdomens. When a massive salamander-like creature with 13 eyes emerged from the abyss of one of the water pools, a the Cryd entered into a symbiotic relationship with the Symet. Together, they struck down the beast, giving them its eyes, which when consumed, caused a number of mutations to arise in both species. From this, the hive first behaviors arose.
Symet
Symets were the first additional creature to be added to the game, followed by Myrits. They were introduced during the giant root event as gel-bodied detritivores and the largest creatures at the time. They later became immobile autotrophs which lived on the backs of Cryd. Along with their new hosts, they struck down the monstrous salamander from the abyss. With the six eyes taken from it, the Symets became polymorphic creatures. Soon after, they discovered the 13th eye of the beast. It spoke to them in a way which they could understand even with their nearly non-existent minds. The eye made them an offer of granting them sentience or unleashing another demon on their enemies. Sentience was taken, making them the minds which direct the hive. They are divided among the following types.
Nest Guardian
Personal attendants of the Cryd queen. They care for her and pass the eggs along to the hatchery.
Warrior
Large, three-tentacled Symets which ride on the back of soldier Cryds.
Unnamed two-headed variety
Not much is known about his Symet morph. Presumably they are the ones producing a sugary fluid for the Cryd to eat.
Dreg
When a Symet grows old, or is separated from its Cryd mount in the case of warriors, they undergo a metamorphosis. They regain their mobility and sprout multiple pseudopods. They become powerful but also senile and lose their photosensitivity. Dregs live in the hive catacombs, stripping the meat from Cryd shells and Myrit bones. They are tended to by Caretakers until being needed for defending from or assisting in a siege.
Myrit
Myrits are a large bird in relation to other creatures, and the second creature to be introduced in game. They are natural predators of Billus, and were quickly taken into hive control.
