The Daemonic Legions were a variant Hordes of Chaos army in 6th edition Warhammer Fantasy, released as part of the Storm of Chaos event. They were basically the prototype for the Daemons of Chaos army that was splintered off into its own force in 7th and 8th edition Warhammer Fantasy, as well as the equivalent editions of Warhammer 40,000, and represent a force composed entirely of daemons marching to war against the mortal realm.

That is, each True Core Unit (a squad of Bloodletters, Daemonettes, Plaguebearers or Horrors) you have, you may take 1 Core Unit, 1 Special Unit, and 1 Rare Unit of the same god.
