It consists of two big armies in warhammer space marines although in this case more specifically the dark angels chapter who recently had a very generouse update, quickly followed by a band of chaos space marines the evil, counterpart of the space marines. In my opinion the dark angels mainly due to there recent update are much better off in this box set than the chaos mainly because they have more specialist troops than the chaos for example the deathwing terminators and tactical squad vs chaos chosen and 2 cultist squads now if you have some experience of 40k basics and law then you will now that even though these aren't the only things in the box set it goes to show the clear in balance that GW has added, in addition it's apparent that the dark angel heroes have been thought out much more that the drunken stumble that are the chaos compositions.
