A genre not really all that similar to [[Steampunk]].
It's roughly Edwardian-to-WW2, or 'between-the-wars' in terms of technology. Everything is run on diesel, there are electrical systems but NO electronics and importantly NO information technology systems. We got vacuum tubes and radio though. Fun stuff.
