Draconic is a racial template introduced in the third edition of Dungeons & Dragons. It is essentially the dragon analogue to a Planetouched; these are the children of Half-Dragons, watering down their dragon ancestry and retaining relatively minimal influences from that dragon blood.
The word can also refer to the language spoken by dragons and their kin, in those editions where such matters aren't needlessly complex such that "Bronze dragons speak Common, their own language, and the language of all metallic dragons."
