Dump Stat is a slang term for a character stat with a particularly useless effect compared to the rest. Its opposite is a god stat. Dump stats can be created by a Gamemaster through his campaign choices or be endemic to the system. For example, in the d20 and Dungeons and Dragons system, most physical combat-oriented characters have little to no use for Charisma, and will put ("dump") the lowest roll made in character creation into that stat.
