This was the first dungeon crawl boardgame, and featured classes like hero, superhero, and wizard--the more powerful classes needed more treasure, and so generally headed towards the lower 'level' of the dungeon (which was a single, fixed, board, with rooms randomly given a treasure card and a monster card).
Highlights of the game, such as they were, involved wizards literally randomly chucking spells into rooms rather than going inside and risking their fragile hides (although they often could fight without spells as well as a hero or superhero), and 'death' (a single failed die roll) forcing the characters to return to the top of the dungeon.
