I will kneecap your enemies and give you a card every time they target you or your shit; do we have a deal?

Fiora is a plane in Magic: The Gathering's multiverse, the setting for the draft- and multiplayer-centric Conspiracy expansions. It is notable for looking very much like Assassin's Creed II with Ezio fighting goblins and mages instead of Templars.

Most cards from Fiora center on a city named Paliano, and the conspiracies (see what I did there?) related to its rulership. In the first Conspiracy set, Paliano was ruled by King Brago, a ghost who was deposed and murdered by one Marchesa the Black Rose. Marchesa crowned herself Queen, making sure that Brago would not return by contracting Kaya, a Planeswalker who can kill ghosts . The full consequences of this are yet to be revealed.

Notable residents include:

  • An artificer named Muzzio, who is basically Magic's equivalent of Leonardo da Vinci.
  • The only known living goblin Planeswalker, an artificer named Daretti.
  • Leovold, a Sultai elf legendary so evil he's the only gold-frame commander to be banned in commander.
  • Kaya, a weak $10 planeswalker with an AMAZING holographic alternate art foil that runs in the low hundreds. She phases through a door as you tilt the card, it's a really impressive use of foil printing.
