The Half-Celestial is a racial template from Dungeons & Dragons 3rd edition, which denotes any creature with direct ancestry to a celestial, a sapient creature indigenous to the Upper Planes of the Great Wheel. In this, it is the counterpart to the Half-Fiend and Half-Elemental, and part of the same over-arching family as the Half-Dragon and the Half-Fey. It's certainly the most sensible of the lot, representing a pairing with a type of being that is both trustworthy and caring, and decently attractive by conventional standards.
