/tg/'s basement bazaar

This page was designed with the purpose of finding others looking for certain items and /tg/ related materials, bitz should be the most traded item but other people might have items which they are willing to trade.

The idea behind this page:

The current idea is to set up a place where bitz can be traded between members of /tg/ in exchange for other bitz, as well as the kit bash idea proposed by SC0URG3. it was also proposed by SC0URG3 that we offer other tradables such as books, maps, dice, anything /tg/ related really.

Kit bash:

SC0URG3 proposed that conversion lovers unite and make a /tg/ based game where you trade a small amount of bitz (no more than a handful) agreed upon in size by both parties and then create miniatures or conversions out of the bitz traded, if nothing else it provides the other party with a few bitz they did not have before.

( Looking for about 6-10 bloodletters, some CSM possessed bitz, more daemonettes,and slaanesh bitz in general. I have bitz as well as pieces of several armies, some rpg books, and other /tg/ stuff just send me an email of what you have and what you are looking for. )

Giveaways

Somtimes you just want somthing out of your gaming room, maybe it's a book, maybe it's a miniature, maybe it's a box full of chopped up sprues, whatever the case you need to get rid of it and someone on /tg/ might want it, throw it on up here along with your email and see who asks about it.

-Germany -: Got a few Tharn ravangers (w/ a white mane),a few pieces for a merc army (warmachine), a bunch of empty sprues if you need 'em, I have enough bitz that I can spare a few small bags of 'em, an eldar codex that I don't need, some plastic D&D minis, and a few other things (will post more when I figure everything I want to get rid of out) (also: I decided recently to get rid of two of my armies, if anyone is looking for a Dark Eldar or Ork army I'm not giving them away but I am trying to sell or trade them for stuff I want. Disclaimer

I would remind you that you are on the internet and people don't always tell the truth, the tips below will help trading flow a whole lot smoother and safer for you but be aware that there can always be the person running a con on the other end of the computer.

Also please note that no one using this web page will hand out your email for any purposes other than for trading, even so I recommend the use of a secondary email account just to be on the safe side.

Trading tips

Also known as how not to get ripped off.

1. If the deal is too good to be true it probably is. Be smart, if the person you are dealing with is offering several books for a few flamer bits it should tell you something is off.

2. Offer and ask for pictures. Lets be honest most everyone has a camera or can get one, hell a cheap-o costs $3-5 bucks at walmart, it's good to know the item exists before sending your stuff off for it.

3. Maintain contact with the person you are trading with. Make sure to tell the person when you received their end of the deal and what type of shipping you used to have the items shiped, I have seen nasty arguments over this before, no need to repeat them.

4. Don't fly off the handle. Stuff gets delayed, people make their packages parcel post, and people do forget. do your best to remain calm a wait for your package,if it becomes more than 3 weeks and you haven't seen any of the stuff promised proceed to #5

5. Report. Put the person's Email and information up in the Blacklist section, be sure to put up what they owed you and what you lost, maybe some eloquen/tg/entlemen can help you.
