Lauka Vai, the Mother of Nightmares, is the leader of the Avengorii dynasty of Soulblight vampires. Her main schtick is that she, like all other Avengorii vampires, is a bloodthirsty monster desperately trying to conceal her bloodlust behind a thinly veiled pretense of honor and nobility.
This is made somewhat difficult, on account of her lower half being some sort of horrifying bat/demon/dragon thing because of some vaguely defined Tzeentch fuckery. And by "honor" they apparently mean drinking the blood of the biggest, baddest motherfucker on the battlefield. Because of this, they choose to settle in the realm of Ghur, where there's more than enough big, bad motherfuckers to go around.
