Kings of War and Warpath heavily, HEAVILY rip right from Warhammer's playbook almost looking to completely undercut the more expensive Citadel Miniatures. In fact, this is part of Mantic's Strategy, which allows people to play Warhammer with cheap non-GW models, which lets Mantic sell more stuff. | |||
Suffice to say, the rules for Kings of War and Warpath are incredibly basic and free from their website, and are nothing to write home about. Mantic Games have got ex-GW people and boy does it show. Kings of War and Warpath heavily, HEAVILY rip right from Warhammer's playbook almost looking to completely undercut the more expensive Citadel Miniatures. In fact, this is part of Mantic's Strategy, which allows people to play Warhammer with cheap non-GW models, which lets Mantic sell more stuff.
