The meltagun is a mid-ranged weapon, designed to take out heavy armour, used by The Imperium. They can fuck up a vehicle like none other. Though suited towards tank hunting, the Meltagun is a weapon good for all-around attack, defence and infiltration, though it falls shortin terms of range. Infiltration with this can take vehicles out of the fight before they even have a chance to fire their weapon...... is that how the baneblades were lost?

Several variants of the meltagun are employed by the Imperium, the most notable variants being the Inferno pistol and the Multi-Melta.

Eldar employ the use of Fusion guns, Fusion pistols and Fire Pikes. The Weaboos use Fusion Blasters.
