The Mistborn adventure game is an RPG produced by Crafty Games, set in Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn universe. It is the most METAL RPG ever, mainly because the magic system revolves around, well, metals.
Setting
Both the books and RPG are set in the final empire, which ranks only slightly below the Warhammer 40k universe on shitty places to live. Ash constantly falls from the sky, thick mists obscure the night and the peasant class are treated little better than slaves. The whole lot is ruled by an immortal god emperor (no not THAT God Emperor) known as the Lord Ruler, who rules with an Iron (hehe) fist. Enforcing his rule are the Inquisitors, (Again, not THOSE Inquisitors) Terrifying creatures with spikes extruding from their bodies and driven through their eyes; Koloss, huge blue Orc/ Troll like creatures whose skin tears as they grow; and the Kandra, a race of shape shifters who can mimic any person whose bones they have consumed. Still, its not all bad. You might just be lucky enough to be born with Allomancy, the ability to ingest and burn metals to gain supernatural powers, allowing you to soar through the air with steel, punch a man's head off with pewter or manipulate peoples emotions with zinc and brass. Those fortunate enough to have all of these powers are known as Mistborn.
Players take the role of a Mistborn, regular human, Kandra or Terrisman (Essentially the ultimate butler, with a different kind of magic known as feruchemy.) and attempt to survive the criminal underground and scheming nobility of the Final Empire.
