In the old days, before any books, there are people so bored that they starts to making shit up, claim the existence of supernatural deities watching over them. Whether or not these deities are real or not, they became legend or myth, and as these legends passed down from person to person as either stories or religion, it gave birth to the fantasy genre we all knew and love. Of course, myth differs from countries to countries.
