Panzerwaffle is a restaurant franchise created by /tg/ within the Shadowrun universe. It's famous for its European-style breakfast menu, friendly staff and well-stocked bar. Panzerwaffle is also the de-facto hangout for off-duty shadowrunners, with many franchises resembling hardened bunkers and employing armed staff. Most Panzerwaffle franchises are within the Seattle area, but other locations are starting to sprout them wherever shadowrunners gather.
A Panzerwaffle tradition is Weapons Check. If someone yells out "Weapons Check!" then every runner in the restaraunt is obligated to hold up or make obvious their primary gun(s), sword(s), or other weapon(s). The story goes that once a table produced assault cannons and a rocket launcher, putting the entire room to shame.
