Age of Slam

COME ON AND SLAM AND WELCOME TO THE AGE OF UNENDING HOOPS

Age of Slam is a theoretical basketball version of Blood Bowl to go with Age of Sigmar which has been discussed in several threads. Slambo is a possible commentator, as are demigod versions of Jim and Bob and Zodiacal monsters. Title subject to change.

Proposed rules involve the height/size of models, dribbling, passing, and shooting, expanded staff rules, and a balance between intentional violence and free throw awards. Baleful Realmgates are the current proposed hoops.

Proposed storyline involve Exile Aelfs (AKA Druchii) emerging from Slaanesh's stomach having seen visions of another world and immediately challenging Daemonettes to a game in Slaanesh's own dark court, with the sport spreading until it replaced the Realmgate Wars.

Teams

Although players may draft any race in the game, each time has a specific sponsor which makes players from their home Realm cheaper to recruit. Furthermore, teams may select one specific benefit available only to their team type.

Stormcast Eternals

• Thunderstruck: Stormcast players recieving Foul damage can attempt to influct Foul damage back at a -1 penalty without detection.
• Forgesworn: Can recruit Duardin without a cross-team penalty.
• Reforged: At 1.5x the cost of initial recruitment, players may be resurrected from death.
• Emperor Reclaims: Can recruit Humans without a cross-team penalty.

• Gamed As Planned: At the cost of one crew each, can roll d10 when the opponent scores a slam-dunk. On a result of 3, 6, or 9 it adds a point to you instead.
• MY BALLBALL!: Can Foul against own players at the same time as a Foul attempt against an opponent. By Fouling successfully against a friendly player in the same attempt, Foul is not detected.
• Team Hats: At the cost of 2 Crew slots, each player gains 1 Charisma.
