Alan Bligh was the lead writer and designer for the Forge World branch of Games Workshop. He is credited as the man responsible for the Horus Heresy series of books being generally high quality. He passed away on the 26th of May 2017; may he be remembered fondly as a friendly face in Bugman's Bar, as well as someone willing to share his time with fans.
