The Sanctus is a type of Genestealer Hybrid assassin that kills anyone who poses a problem to the Cult's activities or its survival. Seriously, as if a normal Genestealer isn't scary or sneaky enough, might as well throw in the Genestealer's equivalent of the Assassinorum while your at it.

They, like their Abominant, Biophagus, Primus and Magus' friends, are able to get their own Genestealer Familiars. Their Familliar sports a pretty cool night vision goggles, even though Familiars generally lack eyes in the first place.

Anyways, in order to meet their agenda or deter prying eyes from their clandestine activities, a Genestealer Cult must sometimes resort to less subtle forms of intervention by eliminating the problem directly.

They are able to do so with a anti-psyker sniper rifle or knife in the dark, and wear camo-cloaks.

Crunchwise

Equipped with a Camo Cloak, shooting him is going to be tricky on the tabletop. On top of that, the Sanctus is also rocking an anti Pskyer weapon called the Silencer Sniper Rifle, which on the surface looks like your typical sniper rifle, a 36" Heavy 1, S4, AP-1, D3 weapon, nothing much to talk about until you read its special rules. In which if a Psyker unit loses any wounds as a result of an attack with this weapon, it suffers Perils of the Warp after the attack has been resolved. Oh sweet Emprah, there is finally a unit that can make Grey Knight and Eldar players shit themselves collectively. Man, these rifles must be packin' some heck of a lot of powerful psyk-out ammunition.

If you fancy a more melee options then he can take a knife that always wound on a 2+ except against Titanics and Vehicles, AP-2, D2 and with 5 attacks which hits on a 2+, that is a pretty good bang for your buck if you drop him against some bikers or other elite units.

Oh yeah, and although the Sanctus can never have a Warlord Trait, he at least gets a free 'A Perfect Ambush' Strategem when used. Oh yes, you heard us right, a free 3CP Strategem. Time to Cheese you way up boys.
