Sorcerer or Sorceror (or Sorceress, when the magic-user in question is a woman) is a term for a magic-user, like wizard, mage, warlock, and witch. It tends to be applied to magicians who are evil and very powerful, though in some cases (like Dungeons & Dragons) there may be some distinction between sorcery and other forms of wizardry.
It can refer to:
