Andy Chambers is a good old guy who quit Games Workshop in the middle of 3rd edition of Warhammer 40,000 as the corruption from the lawyers and economists became ever so more noticeable.
He wrote a lot of balanced codexes. One of the more famous ones was 3rd edition Codex Orks. Although the codexes were a master piece of character, fun and balance, the wording of the rules was shoddy, ambiguous, contradictory or even missing at times.
